IMG_1560_2.JPGAnia Mieskowska – I have been involved in dance and the performing arts for over 25 years.  I have been teaching Pilates in Woodland and Davis since moving here in 2004. What interests me most about Pilates is that it is a functional form of exercise.  I am happiest when I see people taking what they have learned in class, on the mats and the machinery applying it to their everyday lives.  I feel that the principles behind Pilates can be integrated into most other forms of exercise, making them safer and more beneficial to those who practice them.  I delight in watching clients grow stronger and more flexible with each class I teach.

Sabrina_Valle_1_1.jpgSabrina Valle – I began my exercise career as a group exercise instructor for sports & racquet clubs in New York City.  When I moved to California, I began my exercise career with Spare Time Clubs and have been with them for the last 18 years.  I have an eclectic background of affiliations and certifications.  My Pilates Mat and Reformer training and education is through Stott Pilates.  I love to teach and have a passion for helping clients achieve their personal goal, I am happy to provide hands on guidance to enhance and motivate your own commitment to your health and wellbeing.

Pam_Haynes_picture_2_1.jpgPam Haynes - I grew up right here in Woodland, and spent most of my childhood in gymnastics. I discovered Pilates in 2002 when I was looking for an exercise discipline that would offer both strength and an enhanced flexibility program. I was amazed by the transformation my body made with Pilates.  I decided to turn my love for practicing Pilates into teaching.  My Pilates Mat & Reformer training is through the Stott Pilates program. I enjoy helping clients improve their flexibility, posture and to achieve their fitness goals. I believe Pilates is an invaluable tool for staying strong and injury-free.

Dana Uhlmann - A Certified Level I STOTT PILATES instructor, certified in Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrels, and also an Injuries and Special Populations specialist.  She has been teaching Pilates since 2003.  Her background includes intensive and extensive studies of modern and classical dance and mind-body work for nearly 30 years, and also lots of musical endeavors.  From her native Germany she holds a diploma in naturopathy and an M.A. in philosophy (focusing on philosophical anthropology). Besides the deep body-conditioning effects of the Pilates method, she is especially fond of its holistic healing aspects. It is her honor to assist others on their journey to a richer body –and perhaps self- awareness with this great exercise program.
