Our Goal is Total Body Health
Team Premier is committed to helping you feel and function at your very best. A unique part of our approach is customizing your care plan based on your goals and expectations. Some patients start with a goal of simple pain relief, others are looking to achieve optimal health or sports performance. We listen to your concerns and perform a comprehensive assessment to determine the cause and contributing factors to the symptoms and functional limitations you experience. Your health, wellness and fitness goals are implemented in our recommendations for your program of care. We believe information is empowering to you as a patient and on your second visit we share our findings from your initial assessment, outline your program of care in our office and deliver your first adjustment. There are several phases to your treatment plan and our team will guide you every step of the way!
Phase 1: Relief Care
If you are in pain when you come into our office, the first objective is to help you feel better. The most important functional indicator of how your body works is movement. If your range of motion is limited, our goal through the relief phase of care is to improve your movement by 25-50 percent. Depending on the severity of your problem, it is typical to need care 2-3 times per week for 3-6 weeks.
Phase 2: Corrective/Rehab Care
During the corrective care phase, muscles and other tissues are allowed to heal more completely, thereby helping prevent injury. We implement an in-office rehab program, emphasizing balance and stabilization exercises, which will transition to a home care regimen. This is crucial portion of your care to help you attain long-term, sustainable improvement in our office and will empower you with the strategies you can continue in your own regular routine. It is typical to need care 4-8 times per month for 6-12 months, depending on your overall health and the severity of your condition.
Phase 3: Wellness Care
Once your body has fully healed, it is important to come in for periodic adjustments to avoid problems in the future. Usually, this only requires a quick visit to our office 1-4 times per month, based on your lifestyle and goals.
